About EGIZ

We are a research group that consists of a young and dynamic team. A high level of expert knowledge in many areas of information technology is necessary for further development of eGovernment. EGIZ draws on a scientific background from the many years of experience of the employees at the Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications Technology (IAIK) at Graz University of Technology.

The eGovernment Innovation Centre (EGIZ) was started in September 2005 as a joint initiative of the Federal Chancellery and the Graz University of Technology, at the Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications Technology (IAIK).
